Welcome to Dennis Hisardut Australia! This is the official site of the Australian Branch of Dennis Hisardut/Survival, a martial art/fighting system which is used by various combat units and agencies of the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces). To visit the system's main website click here.
The system was created by Dennis Hanover, one of Israels most legendary fighters, military trainers and martial artists. Before MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) was officially born Dr Hanover was blending Karate, Judo and Ju-Jitsu to create one combined fighting system that was effective at all ranges and that had solutions both to situations involving weapons as well as those involving multiple attackers.
This unique system is now available in the Brisbane area for the first time ever in Australia!
Seminars on a wide range of topics can also be provided on request anywhere in the Asia pacific region.
The system is headed up in Australasia by Master Gavriel Schneider (6th Dan) a long time student of Dr Hanover’s. Master Schneider has instructed at the main centre in Israel and ran the system in South Africa. He has also been a former Hisardut full contact black belt Israeli champion.
